STEP 1. LEGALIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTSBy the time of arrival at the university, applicants must legalize their educational documents in the country where their education took place. Certificates and diplomas can only be legalized in the country of issue.

National Information Center.STEP 2. TRANSLATION INTO RUSSIANBefore arriving at the university, the passport and foreign educational documents (diploma and transcript)
must be translated into Russian and notarized. If the translations are done abroad, they must be certified at a Russian consulate or apostilled.
Translations certified by a foreign notary are accepted only from countries that have a valid legal assistance agreement with the Russian Federation, in which case legalization is not required. This information can also be verified on the website of the
National Information Center.Certified translations must include attached copies of the original translated documents.
Important! Your name and surname must be written identically in all documents and their translations.
