Tuition and fees

– Tuition for the entire academic year must be paid by September 15.
– Payment in two installments during the fall semester is allowed for senior-year students. To do so, a tuition installment request form must be submitted:

• 1st installment: by September 15 — at least 50% of the total tuition fee
• 2nd installment: by November 15 — the remaining amount

– Payment in two installments during the spring semester is allowed for first-year and senior-year students. To do so, a tuition installment request form must be submitted:

• 1st installment: by February 15 — at least 50% of the total tuition fee
• 2nd installment: by April 15 — the remaining amount

– Payment in two installments during the spring semester is allowed for first-year and senior-year students. To do this, a tuition installment request form must be submitted:

• September 15 (for the fall semester);
• February 15 (for the spring semester)

According to the contract, the student must confirm payment within 3 (three) calendar days after the transaction by sending a scanned copy of the payment receipt or bank transfer confirmation to the following email: study@mpei.ru
Please include the student’s full name in the subject line.

Students who fail to pay tuition within the established deadlines will be expelled from FSBEI HE “NRU MPEI” due to non-payment.

An additional agreement to amend the tuition fee must be prepared in the Financial and Contract Department (Room Ж-310) and submitted to the International Education Directorate.

1. By bank card via the FSBEI HE “NRU MPEI” payment service.

To make a payment, you must enter the contract number and date. Payment can be made with a card from any bank with no commission:
a) for TUITION
b) for DORMITORY

2. Generate a payment receipt on the website by following the link: form for filling out the receipt. The receipt can be paid at any bank. When paying at a Sberbank branch or via QR code through the Sberbank mobile app, no commission is charged.

In the payment description, it is mandatory to indicate the student’s full name and contract number.

To request a tuition fee refund due to contract termination or a technical error, you must contact the International Education Directorate or the Financial and Contract Department (Room Ж-310) to obtain a refund request form.

You must have with you:

• the bank account details of the payer’s card
• a copy of the payment receipt

In all cases, the refund is processed within 14 working days from the date the request is submitted.
