Tuition fee and payment

- Payment for the entire academic year must be made by 15 September.
- Payment in 2 (two) installments in the autumn semester is permitted for senior-year students. To do this, it is necessary to fill out an installment (deferred payment) application:

• 1st installment by 15 September — at least 50% of the tuition fee;
• 2nd installment by 15 November — the remaining amount.

- Payment in 2 (two) installments in the spring semester is permitted for first-year and senior-year students. To do this, it is necessary to fill out an installment (deferred payment) application:

• 1st installment by 15 February — at least 50% of the tuition fee;
• 2nd installment by 15 April — the remaining amount.

• Payment in 2 (two) installments in the spring semester is permitted for first-year and senior-year students. To do this, it is necessary to fill out an installment application:
• 15 September (autumn semester);
• 15 February (spring semester).

In accordance with the contract, the student is obliged to confirm the fact of payment within 3 (three) calendar daysfrom the date of payment by sending a scanned copy of the paid receipt/payment order by email to: study@mpei.ru.
Please indicate the student’s full name in the email subject line.

A student who has not paid the tuition within the established time limits is expelled for non-payment from FGBOU VO “NRU ‘MPEI’.”

An additional agreement to the contract on changing the tuition fee is executed at the Financial and Contract Department (Room Zh-310) and then submitted to the Directorate of International Education.

1. By bank card via the payment service of FGBOU VO “NRU ‘MPEI’.”

To pay, you must enter the number and date of the education contract. Tuition can be paid without commissionusing a card of any bank.

2. Generate a payment slip on the website via the link: payment slip form. The slip can be paid at any bank. When paying at a Sberbank branch or by QR code through the Sberbank app, no bank commission is charged.

In the payment purpose/description, it is MANDATORY to indicate the student’s full name and the contract number.

To refund tuition fees upon termination of the contract or due to a technical error, please contact the Directorate of International Education or the Financial and Contract Department (Room ж-310) to obtain the refund application form.

Please have with you:

• bank details of the payer’s card account;
• a copy of the payment receipt.

In all cases, the refund is processed within 14 working days from the date the application is submitted.
