Student campus «Lefortovo»
The student dormitory complex of the National Research University “MPEI” includes seven dormitory buildings and a Sanatorium-Preventorium building. Within walking distance of the dormitories are the MPEI Cultural Center, canteens, swimming pool, “Energia” stadium, academic buildings, and the scientific and technical library.
Most of the university dormitories were built between the 1930s and 1950s. These buildings have now undergone major renovations. Currently, MPEI is included in a state investment program for the construction of new dormitory buildings for student accommodation.
Dormitories provided to students are of two types: corridor-type (with shared facilities on the floor) and block-type (with a bathroom and toilet shared between rooms in a block). Each floor is equipped with one or two kitchens fitted with induction cooktops.
To ensure a convenient and comfortable living experience, dormitories include study rooms, recreation rooms, gyms, dance halls, table tennis rooms, ironing rooms, affordable laundries and tailor services, cafés, student council rooms, and more.

В целях обеспечения безопасности студентов в общежитиях действует пропускной режим, ведется круглосуточное видеонаблюдение. В общежитиях есть автоматическая пожарная сигнализация. Все помещения оснащены огнетушителями. Установлена система дымоудаления нового образца

ACCOMODATION COST
The payment amount is determined by the Rector’s Order:
The payment receipt for dormitory accommodation is automatically sent to your corporate MPEI email address (OSEP email) at the beginning of each academic semester (September, February).
Payment periods:
For questions regarding dormitory accommodation payment, contact the Financial Accounting Office of OUN and PDD via the MPEI OSEP email at: oplata@mpei.ru
Note: If you move out of the dormitory, you may apply for a refund. The student must be present in person to sign a reconciliation statement for the dormitory rental agreement at the Financial Accounting Office.
Appointments are made through the electronic queue system at the Financial Accounting Office located at:

- From the date of signing the dormitory rental agreement until January 31 of the following year (for first-year students);
- Spring semester: from February 1 to July 31 (semester = 6 months);
- Fall semester: from August 1 to January 31 (semester = 6 months).

- at a Sberbank branch (via terminal or cashier — a printed receipt is required);
- through other banks.
- September and February: within 10 calendar days from the date the receipt is sent to your corporate MPEI email address (OSEP email).
