Lefortovo Student Campus
The student dormitory complex of NRU “MPEI” includes eight dormitory buildings and the building of the Health Resort and Preventive Treatment Centre. The MPEI House of Culture, canteens, swimming pool, Energia Stadium, academic buildings, and the Scientific and Technical Library are located within walking distance of the student dormitories.
Most university dormitories were built in the 1930s–1950s. Major renovation works have now been carried out in these buildings. At present, NRU “MPEI” is included in the targeted investment programme for the construction of new dormitory buildings for students.
The dormitories provided to students are divided into corridor-type dormitories, with facilities on each floor, and block-type dormitories, with a bathroom and toilet in each block. Each floor has one or two kitchens equipped with electric or induction cookers.
For comfortable living, the dormitories have study rooms, recreation rooms, sports and dance halls, tennis rooms, ironing rooms, affordable laundry facilities and tailoring services, cafés, student council rooms, and other facilities.

Student Dormitory Administration
The dormitories of the Lefortovo Student Campus of NRU “MPEI” are a complex of eight dormitory buildings with well-developed infrastructure and all necessary conditions for students’ living and recreation. Rooms are designed for two or three residents.
STUDENT CAMPUS DORMITORIES
Free Wi-Fi via the Moscow WiFi Free network and wired internet access are available in all dormitories.
To ensure student safety, access control is in place in the dormitories, and 24-hour video surveillance is carried out. The dormitories are equipped with automatic fire alarm systems. All rooms are equipped with fire extinguishers. A modern smoke removal system has been installed.

ACCOMMODATION FEES
The accommodation fee is established by order of the Rector.
The payment receipt for accommodation is automatically sent to your NRU “MPEI” corporate e-mail address, OSEP mail, at the beginning of each semester: September and February.
Payment period:
When moving out of the dormitory, you may request a refund. The student must be present in person to sign the reconciliation statement under the residential rental agreement at the Accounting Department.

- from the date of signing the residential rental agreement until 31 January of the following year (for first-year students);
- spring semester: from 1 February to 31 July, 6 months;
- autumn semester: from 1 August to 31 January, 6 months.

- at a SberBank branch, via a terminal or cashier. The receipt must be printed in advance;
- through other banks.
- September and February: within 10 calendar days from the date when the receipt is sent to your MPEI corporate e-mail address, OSEP mail.
